Foods that are extinct.
Can't get Doo Dads anymore. They were so much better than Chex Mix.

And, you can't get Cheese Tidbits anymore. No other cheese cracker tastes like Tidbits.

(Great idea, mykpart. Hope you don't mind me copying your thread.)

1. Not at all!
And I agree about Doo-dads. There also used to be taco flavored Doritos. I miss them - don't care for the Nacho-flavored ones.

2. The curry I had for lunch is now extinct
First it was extirpated from the plate, then it was extirpated from the take-out container.

7. Carnation breakfast bars & cakes.
They were the BOMB.

Closest thing now is Kellogg's "Krave" which are too-sweet, gooey and gross.

12. I absolutely loved Carnation Breakfast Bars
There was something about the texture--I've never found another bar that compares. :-(

Mrs. Paul's made macaroni & cheese sticks. They looked like fish sticks, but inside they had gooey mac & cheese. Mmmm.

15. Passenger Pigeon Pot Pie!
Damn, I bet that was good eating before we killed 'em all off. I've read they were so easy you could walk up to a tree and pick them off the branches after they'd settled in for the night. The flocks were reported to be a mile across and 300 miles long and could block out the sun. Now they're totally gone.

Bet it was fine food.
