1. Anbesol should help...
and your local drugstore SHOULD have some sort of temporary filling if that's why your tooth is bothering you.

Good Luck.

2. Try calling local dentists at home
it is their responsibility to take care of you if you can get ahold of them. They will probably perscribe some prescrition pain pills for a day or so until you can get in to see them.

7. I think oil of cloves is supposed to help.
You can get it at a health food store but I'm not entirely sure how you use it.

9. Put the clove oil on the tooth.
If it is a lost filling that is causing you pain, I think you can dip a bit of cotton in the clove oil and put that in the cavity.

Years ago I had my wisdom teeth removed. All four were impacted and had to be chipped out. Anyhow, one of those developed what is called a "dry socket" which means the scab fell off and left the nerves exposed to open air. I was eating codeine like it was candy and I was STILL hurting like a mo-fo.

I got into the Oral Surgeon's office that Monday (of COURSE it happened on a weekend!) and he cut the stitches open and JAMMED a cotton ball dipped in Clove Oil down in that open socket. I about came out of that chair, but it did finally kill that pain.

Good luck. Dental pain is just awful.

11. Clove Oil
...is what my oral surgeon used after I had my wisdom teeth extracted, and it worked wonders.
