There were 100+ replies, all very earnest and serious.

I had to be a dumbass and reply: "I am an expert on 19th century yak-herders and creamed corn."

I would have forgotten it by the next day, except that maybe 20 minutes later, someone (I forget whom) posted a new thread asking me what I know about yaks. I took that stupid ball and ran with it... and so did a few others for awhile. :-)
