1. I'd take the day off
but few here care that it's one of my favorite holidays.

2. Everyone already has the day off
where I work at. Except me. Even the boss is gone. It will be unguarded for an April Fools Recon Mission. Mwa ha ha!

5. I was a bartender in Miami's Coconut Grove one St. Patty's Day.

That "cured" me of this Amateur Night "holiday" forever:puke:

7. One of these years
I'm going to get down to Savannah for St. Patrick's.

I know, it sounds silly but Savannah does St. Patrick's like New Orleans does Mardi Gras.

9. I'm working until 5
(5 am to 5 pm).

I spoke w/ a few of my coworkers-turns out I'm the only one in our department who can even stake a claim to any kind of Irish heritage, yet they are all taking it off and screwing me out of it. Most of them are German.

13. Well that sucks...
sorry you won't be able to celebrate, too. I'm taking a personal day Friday. I'm sure I'll get the cold shoulder from my boss on Monday, because we get 5 personal days a year, but they don't want you to use them...go figure.

10. I'll be playing at Maddie's in Frazer, PA from 7-11 PM!
Before that, I'll be teaching during the day, and having a few piano lessons as well.

15. When I was in Portland, we would go to Kell's downtown.
Always good music and lots of Guiness.

Now that I live in North Dakota.........not so much. Go figure.
