I was at the grocery store with the SO Sunday, and she shrieked and pointed at the magazine rack... THERE WAS A MAGAZINE ALL ABOUT RACHAEL RAY!!! She was on the cover with her demonic smile...

And, btw, Starbucks Anarchist -- we all know the TWO reasons why you like her, so your opinion of this is already suspect...

1. My best friend loves her show.

She's learning how to do more than boil water for boxed mac and cheese because of that show.

She says that Rachel is an idiot and that if Rachel can cook she can give it a shot. Believe me, that stir-fry hot dog crap would be an improvement over what B_ can make now!

She probaby started cooking and taking orders when she was a child, and she has a LOT of confidence in what she does best...cook..

She's not a "foo-foo" cook..and never claims to be.. I have seen her on Dave Letterman's show and when he called her a chef, she bristled.. said.. "Hey, I'm just a girl who can cook..I'm a cook..not a chef"..

The food she cooks is not fancy, but it looks pretty tasty..

She cannot help that she turned out perky and cute.. Her husband probably likes that about her

4. And Brandi can't cook at all.

She calls me up when her in-laws are coming over for dinner and begs me to cook for her. I do it and then leave before they get there so they think that she did it.

Her signature dish is canned vegetable soup w/ instant rice. That is the extent of her cooking skills.

She used paper bags like the Anal Retentive Chef character on SNL did.

My wife and I watch her quite a bit. She introduced us to Panettone French Toast this past Christmas (awesome), which we had a few too many times. Might be why I gained about ten pounds over the holidays.
