I feel like a few weeks ago I read in here about the bank HSBC/Household being involved in these things called RAL's with tax firms like H & R Block.
Well anyone, here is ANOTHER thing to watch out for with these two. If you use turbotax, before being prompted to put in your credit card information to pay the $15 fee for using the product, an option comes up that asks you if you just want the fee to be deducted directly from your refund (instead of having to take the time to fill out your Credit Card info) . Well, READ the fine print! This option will cost you an addition $15 (or around there) and guess who that money goes to? HSBC/Household.
Everyone is trying to make a quick buck off of us.
