I loved those when I was a kid.
Every year, we went to MickeyDees for my birthday,
and I had 2 of those!
Drove my folks nuts singing that for about a week in advance!

10. I was a kid at the time, but I remember it
I also remember "At McDonald's--We do it all for you". This was my introduction to the realities of advertising when my mom informed me that "They don't do it all for you, they do it all for their profits". (I was around 7 at that time)

11. I like Mitch Hedberg's take on it:
He was talking about how we should get rid of sesame seeds and that McDonald's new slogan would be, "Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a... bun."

12. What about this. "Hold the pickles, hold the lettuce, special orders...
don't upset us, all we ask is that you let us have it your way."

That song came out at the same time as the "Two all beef patties" song came out.

:hi: Archae.

21. I remember that too.
I went from age 10 to age 19 during the 70's.

So you know what hit about the same time as I hit puberty?

It's definition can be remembered just like an advertising slogan.

14. I think I was in my early 20s when that came out
So let's do some real fast-food retro:

Are you hungry for a treat?
Want food that's fun to eat?
Then come to the golden arches
in your neighborhood
McDonald's golden arches —
McDonald's makes it so good
