Jolly Time popcorn sucks BIGTIME. Even moreso than George W. Bush

Seriously - this stuff is crap!


I had some movie rentals and wanted to get some popcorn. But I didn't feel like driving all the way to the grocery store so I stopped at my local Happy Harry's Discount Drugstore (it's a Delaware thing) and all they had was Jolly Time. So I got the Jolly Time Kettle Korn Lite popcorn.

Normal microwave popcorn takes exactly 2:23 minutes for a perfect, full bag of popcorn. I did that with the Jollytime and I got a half full bag of somewhat burnt popcorn. If you go any longer then you've got nasty popcorn smell, any less and you have mostly kernals and very little popcorn.

The stuff sucks, it sucks so much that if it was Jollytime Popcorn running for President against George W. Bush, I'd actually consider voting for Bush. Thank goodness popcorn can't run for office

I like the plain variety (no butter). It's great.

Popcorn is fickle. You must listen to the pops to get the perfect bag.

5. I like Orville Redenbacher's stuff,

specifically the Healthy Pop kettle corn. I don't eat it terribly often, though, because I can't stand having popcorn stuck in my teeth.
