http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11840116/SPOKANE, WA. A dog is being credited with alerting a woman that there was a fire on her property Monday night in north Spokane County. The fire broke out shortly after 11 Monday night on Greenbluff on the 10500 block of E. Dunn Road. Four units with twelve firefighters from District Four responded to the blaze which destroyed the barn and its contents, and damaged a vehicle which was close to the barn.
When the fire broke out the homeowner's dog actually alerted the woman inside that something was wrong. Her husband was at work and the dog kept bugging her and
eventually nipped her hard enough to get her attention. No injuries were reported in the blaze and a cause is not yet known.
