The Magistrate did the dishes tonight.
And I didn't even ask him to.

You may be thinking, "BFD, he should do them every night." He used to make dinner every night, and I did the dishes. But times have changed.

There is nothing he wouldn't do to make me happy, but there are some things he can't do, and some things he shouldn't do. He shouldn't make dinner or do the dishes every night. But tonight he did, without being asked. And I just want to say how much I love him.

That's all.

1. That's wonderful
My husband does the dishes every night, since I am unable to stand in one spot for more than five minutes at a time without excruciating pain. Did I mention that he hates doing the dishes? ;-)

Here's to fabulous husbands! :toast:

It's funny when the sight of a clean countertop fills me with affection. But there it is.

BTW, I enjoy your posts on DK. I don't visit very often, but I have noticed your posts when I do. Nice work!

3. But...you must be obeyed. So it should have been easy to get him to do it.
Yes?

7. Yes

But he shouldn't stand up for long periods, so I don't ask him to very often. That's why tonight was such a nice surprise.

9. That is very nice!
But if you told us he got that gloopy glob out of the bathtub drain and disposed of it I'd be really impressed. ;)
