Totally shallow question: best teeth whitening product out there?
Edited on Thu Mar-16-06 09:49 AM by LostinVA
That doesn't cost a zillion bucks? I drink alot of tea, and the old baking soda/peroxide ain't cutting the stains too well...

on edit: because tea is much easier to drink than teeth...

12. Hey Lost - New Listerine Whitening mouthwash. Seriously WORKS.
Edited on Thu Mar-16-06 11:41 AM by peacebird
Use for 30secs prior to brusinh teeth and you can see the diff in one use. Hubby has "coffee" teeth, totally cleared them up in under a week.

of course this is a listerine produce without the little "approved by the American Dental Assoc" seal....

on edit: I tried the Crest strips - this is easier AND works better imho....

14. Agreed
I started using it about two weeks ago and it does a real nice job. The only downside is it's like gargling with milk of magnesia:puke:

17. I used Crest Whitestrips Supreme.
They are only available through a dentist (but I had 20+ years' worth of stains - coffee, tea, red wine, cola, and 15 years' worth of smoking). They worked great, but you're supposed to use them for three weeks. After two weeks, my teeth developed a sensitivity, so I saved the last week's worth for touch ups.

I also use Crest Vivid White toothpaste, which is supposed to help prevent future staining.

18. The trays have a high initial outlay of $$$, but they are worth it
plus refills are only about $30 and that usually lasts me 1/2 a year.
