On another topic: I am almost through with the book by Nathan Stoltzfus. It was really a great read and it made me sick in the stomach that the Germans just were standing and doing nothing (who weren't married to Jews).

9. I know. That book is both enlightening, and sad.....

...it shows hope, in that even the greatest tyrants, have limits. It is sad, in that others chose not to see. I think a positive from the book, which should be preached from the mountaintop, is that resistance from women, really shakes up the Western patriarchal power structure.

On a softer note, I hope you find that sexy Englishman...;-)

Maybe I will move to Europe for good someday... maybe Lisboa or Madrid. Now that they have a high speed train between the two cities, it will only take two hours. :)

24. It's not easy but I am still alive.

I was bitten by a spider the other night after I came down with a bad cold. There are bugs of all types all over my house! :( At least the big flying cockroaches don't bite, usually.

... gee, right now I miss living in Brasil... lying in a hammock next to the ocean. Que saudade! :cry:

I got bitten bad while being in Monroe, LA. It was nasty. My legs were looking awful. Bitten by a spider? :scared:

26. Yeah under my arm, but at least the flesh didn't rot.

I thought it might have been a brown recluse spider, but it didn't hurt that bad (I've been bitten before). It did make me sick for over a day, though. I feel much better now.

I have gaping holes in the ceiling, so there is not much I can do about it right now. At least the weather is getting warmer, so the cold showers aren't as bad. :)
