Good Friday Morning, Crew!
:donut::hi:
How are you today? I hope you had a good nights rest last night! One work shift left and we begin the weekend! :bounce: I hope you have some fun and relaxation planned. That's what the weekend should be, you know.

DU was acting up yesterday...has it been doing it again today, or does it seem to be working fine?

Are you ready to start the day? Me too! :bounce: So let's get it on!

I'm not at the pub cos I'm still 17!
I do feel like a long discussion this evening, so first: what's the time there?

15. No need to be sorry! I'm fine,
I just moved into university/the city after 17 years in 'a regional area'/hell.

So I'm very happy, and not nearly so lonely, especially because I'm so far from family.

AND I'm listening to Beethoven's ninth symhony, fourth movement, which is cool.

Wonderful song, that one...

top of the morning to you btw!

Most people who celebrate here are not Irish either. I think it's just an excuse (if anyone really needs one) to party.

I'm only working until noon today then heading up north with friends. We rented a lodge and plan to do some hiking, and just act silly.

Well, I'm off to finish packing. I've got a weird way of packing when I travel. I don't do it until the last minute. That way I just throw in my suitcase just the things I'll need. If I spend to much time at it, I over pack. Sometimes that way works, and sometimes it doesn't.

Chat with you on Monday!

I can see why you're hesitating on that one. My 8-10 hour drive home is bad enough, which is why I fly if possible (that only takes 1-1.5 hours).

51. Mornin' Clint
Not bad.... still up, looking at some stuff etc.

Reserving some films and books from my library. Nerd stuff I know. :)

I have had all week off for Spring Break. I'm a little antsy, I'm sorta looking forward to getting back to class. Kind of. :)

Got a date tonight, going to attend a play. See how that goes and all.

Other than that, I'm stull plugging along the same as usual. I really don't ever change all that much. :) Pretty much a simple man with simple habits.

Hey, we're ALL nerds at heart, so don't let that bother you in the least. I wish I had had spring break off from work...but it doesn't quite work that way, you know. Especially for those of us who work in retail. People have to shop!

I hope you have fun on your date, Man! :bounce:

79. that's the luck of being a student
I can at least get some time off. Although, since I am older than my :: ahem :: peers, I think I need the rest more than they do. Maybe 10 years ago when I was 21 like most of them I was energetic, haha. Now, I'm practically a fossil compared to all of them. Hell, I'm not even old, but, damn, I go to school with babies, lol. My youngest brother is 21 and lives with me; he's always trying to wrestled around etc. He's like an overgrown pup. I'm like that old grouching hunting dog on the "Fox and The Hound" and he's like the young puppy always raising hell, haha.

Yes, I have learned to embrace my nerdiness. Nothing like a good book!

Oh, I'm sure I'll have fun. We seem to hit it off pretty well.

So what kind of retail do you work in, if you don't mind? I'm a former HS wrestling coach, turned wannabe creative genius. :)

I'm just a little older than you and I'm NEVER going to be old! At my store, we sell furniture and accessories for the home. We sell LOTS of stuff, and we've been getting in our spring line, so it's fun!

Yes, I too am jumping for joy because it's Friday. And what makes my day even better, I'm only working until noon. Then heading up north with a bunch of friends. We rented a lodge for the weekend. Should be a blast. Plan on getting some hiking in too.

Maybe when I get back I'll have more time to look over these journals. Mine's completely blank, but I just didn't have any extra time to devote to it yet. ugh
