3. That was EXACTLY the rationale
for me and one of our production artists to fuck off from work at 3:30 and hit the tavern.

Damn, Smithwick's ale apparently contains some alcohol or something...

4. mmmm....Smithwick's
my local Irish-themed tavern (just around the corner from my place) recently started serving Smithwick's. Needless to say I've been spending more time there lately.

And tonight, there's no parking around for blocks. Thankfully I found a spot when I got home from work.

5. You live in a bar-saturated 'hood, too, eh?
It certainly has its plusses *hic* but my neighborhood in recent years has become a destination, so parking near my own house on weekend evenings can sometimes be a bit of a chore. Fuckin' tourists. I should go back out and start some fights. Or key some Lexuses. Lexi?

6. sounds EXACTLY like my neighborhood
Several decent bars within hoofing distance, many good restaurants and a lot of historical places (F. Scott Fitzgerald grew up a block away from me). Which means that off-street parking can be very rare on some weekends.

They also have a royal piss-up every June called "Grand Ole Days", which attracts tourists from all over. Live music by all the local second-rate barbands, lite beer in plastic glasses, and more mullets than you can shake a Camaro with T-tops at. It's a giant middlebrow meat market, replete with guys relieving themselves in your front yard as an added attraction.

I like the Lexus keying idea. Just write a little message: "HEY ASSHOLE! DO YOU REALLY NEED TWO PARKING SPOTS?". With your key, on their door, of course. ;)
