Does me — all lovey-dovey. (And I hate that term.)

A fiver or a 7.5?
I wouldn't worry about anything bad happenin'. Two (of either strength) is a normal dose for like eight hours.
Might knock you on your derriere, though.

9. Aaaaaah, the infamous "narcotic itch." |
|
I know the feeling. Not so bad coupled with some pain relief.

15. We couln't agree more on that one. |

I have bad migraines and the only medicine that seems to work for me is an over the counter medicine that most people wouldn't think would work on a migraine. It's an off brand PM type medicine. Although it is not considered a narcotic, it gives the same type of pain relief to a lesser degree without a prescription. The only problem is that it makes me sleepy. I have tried the non PM version of the same exact medicine. I does not work. The medicine in question contains 500mg of acetominophene and 25 mg of diphenhydramine. I don't know why it works and the sleepiness is a pain if I have to take it in the middle of the day, but it is a small price to pay for relief.

|
It was really awful when I found this out after having my wisdom teeth out. I ended up decideing to live with the constant pain rather than being in pain only half the time and puking. I guess that's why they gave me oxycotin when I had a kidney stone and another time that I was in a lot of pain.

14. Squishy? Yes, but be very careful friend |
|
Some experience a loss of inhibition in a way they're not quite used to. I've had a few friends who have blown off spouses and employers when "high" on Vicodin. It's not like being drunk exactly, but similar. Make sure any SO's in the house know your looped, so as not to take you seriously when you get to honest. ;o) Alcohol may intensify this effect.

17. "Squishy" is a perfect descriptor for a Vicodin high... |
|
I have felt that same squishy feeling. I loved the squishy. Ahhhhh...the squishy.
I was in the hospital after having back surgery. I blew a disc while I was 7 months pregnant with my second child.
They gave me vicodin in the hospital. I watched the nurse inject it into my IV and almost instantly, I felt a major case of the "squishes" wash over me.
Ahhhhhhh...fond memories.
I loved the feeling so much, I requested that they not send any home with me. I would have ate them all the first day home!
I opted for Tylenol with Codeine instead and a few Percocet for the first day home.
((((((hugs)))) to you--and be careful with that stuff. :)

And squishy is a good description. I've been popping them for the last couple of days because my bum knee has been acting up. Sure evens out my mood - though the knee still hurts, I don't mind nearly as much. :smoke:

made the mistake of having alcohol after I took vicodin and I passed out right away. Never again!
I asked if I could stop taking it and the dr said ok and suggested tyenol/motrin for the pain. I had major surgery.
