iPod Nano..or PSP?
My original iPod--brought it way back in 2001!--is still going strong, but now i think it's time to finally get up to date with a new mobile device. So I'm looking at 2--the iPod Nano and the Sony PSP. I've tried the Nano, and it's really, really small in my hands1 Yet it'll synch ith my iTunes and carry my music with no prolems, just no video of course. The PSP I passed on last year, although I could have had on easily on Launch Day (Best Buy had a whole stack of 'em, and I had the money at that moment, but I wasn't impressed with some of the games at the time). So i would need some 3rd part software so I could synch it with my iMac G5, it has some good games, movies, and wireless featuress via wi fi hotspots...not to mention next week it'll drop to $199 (same as the nano). Any suggestions or advice?

2. calendar?
Does it have a calendar already built in for the PSP? And how about a lanyard/carry case?

3. You should take size into consideration.
The PSP is a lot bigger than the Nano. I don't believe you could comfortably walk around with a PSP in your pocket. If you carry a bag around all day that might not be an issue.

Good luck with which ever one you get!

5. in my case
I would probaly have the PSP in some kind of case, I'll goggle the psps accessories to see what's out there. The wi-fi feature would be awesom too.

4. my daughter has a psp, 2 problems--one she's 11 1/2 so the game
selection for her age range is pretty limited, yes i'm one of those mean moms that will only allow her to play E for eveyone games, and 2 the games are expensive. On the plus side there are tons of movies available for it and you can also play music on it.

6. What about dropping an additional $100 and
getting a 30 gig iPod video? If one thing that interests you about the PSP is the video, I'd go with the 30 gig iPod video. I saw the nano at the Apple Store last night and it is teeny tiny. I'd be concerned about it breaking if I put it in my pocket.

7. PSP
Here's why...

Built in wifi/web-browser/video link.
Pictures/Music/Music Videos
GAMES!
Movies

Now you can buy software to convert DVDs to UMD format to watch on the go.

Plays more formats than only the quicktime formats (Now including WMA)

It's just way more bang for the buck...

Be sure to get the largest memory chip available (2G around $80.00 online)

(Jeeze, I sound like I work for Sony...)
