I'm from a small island in SE Alaska. My hometown is Ketchikan, pronounced "catch a can." Its called the First City of Alaska. If any of you have, or plan on going on a Alaskan Cruise, your first stop in Alaska, will be Ketchikan. There is roughly from one end of town, to the other, 36 miles of road, and no way to leave the "rock" except through, 1. Swimming, 2. Alaskan Airlines(and getting fucked to do so) 3. AMH, which is the Alaska Marine Highway, which consists of a fleet of ferry boats.

My hometown is very similiar to most of the Pacific NW, albiet we get a lot more rain than those crybabies in Washington/Oregon. Our record rainfall was 202 inches in the early 50's, and our average is roughly 160 inches a year. Its an outdoors man paradise, and a photographers dream come true...:) I miss the old hometown...

Currently, i'm stuck in SW Missouri...no ocean, no water really, a bunch of caves, and sticks, that they call trees...armadillo's, possums, skunks, and a ton of other rodents, small fish, no mountains...lots of churches...man, sounds like hell sorta?...;)
