I'm studying for an exam in an interesting way...
our professor has set up a chat room and has invited all of us to join in and ask any questions we might have before the exam. I can't say I've ever taken part in a chat room study session before...isn't technology great?

1. Just be sure to log or copy the chat :-)
For your reference.

Cool way to study. Used to be we all actually had to meet at someone's house or the student union to have a study group...

2. That's really cool
I'll second the suggestion to save the chat to study with. Nice.

I've been emailing with my mother-in-law, a history prof, to talk about my upcoming history exam!

3. I'm taking notes because he is essentially telling us...
what is going to be on the exam tomorrow so it's a great resource

4. That's cool
You should also be able to save a copy of the whole chat for reference, I'd think. Is it a chat through a website, or AIM or Yahoo?

5. no it's through this program we have at school called WebCT
it's pretty neat because the prof can post notes online, we have message boards and the chat function...I've had a couple of profs that posted notes and exams on it but this is the first time I've used the chat

6. Ah, we use WebCT, as well
For some reason, I thought the CT part meant Connecticut; I guess not? I didn't know it had a chat function, that's pretty cool.

Best of luck with your exam! :hi:
