2. Thanks. I did not see why people thought it was a sensitive portrait
of a virgin. Too many erection jokes, too. :(

3. What was nauseating?
I mean some of it was more risque, but it was R rated. I can't think of anything that was particularly nauseating.

7. Hmm. I saw the unrated DVD version, so maybe it was worse.
I'm just very sensitive to the sexist and homophobic humor is all. But to each his own. Just thank goodness I don't have to see that again.

9. That's cool
I guess I'm asking for specifics as to what made you nausated, but I understand if you don't feel like dredging that up. I didn't think the movie was particularly sexist or homophobic, but I'm also generally not keyed into that. Any specific things that really upset you?

11. Oh, the "You know how I know you're gay" part...
After being made fun in school, that crap just ain't funny. Plus almost all the women were refered to as hoes. Just not my cup of tea.

14. I barely remember that part
I can't really fully understand how that can't be funny after what you went through but I'll take your word for it. Wasn't it sort of like male bonding activities though? Like male joking relationships? See now I wish I could reference the movie because I totally don't recall that.

Ah well. I know what it's like to be made fun of for something you can't control and how other things unrelated can set it off.

I still thought the movie was funny though.

4. What made you almost throw up?
I liked it. I thought it was funny. I can't think of what would have make you almost throw up. Maybe I'm forgetting something.

8. I can't explain it. It was not on a rational level.

 Just got over a very violent and painful relationship so it affected me. Just don't like gross out humor.

5. It was okay, but nothing to write home about
I thought it was very average. A few cute little toilet jokes, but that's about it.

6. I thought it was really cute but almost went on too long.
I'm one of those who thought it was a sensitive portrayal of a virgin, LOL. Andy (?) was taken very seriously. The movie didn't make fun of him, which is what I expected when it came out.

There were a lot of silly jokes, but Andy wasn't one of them, and that I liked.

Also, I really dug the multicultural cast. A lot.

10. Yeah definately too long
First half was comedy, second half was relationship dramady. Which is fine...but seemed to go a little formulaic and long in the end.

I did also enjoy the multicultural cast.

It reminded me of my brother-in-law another 40 year old single guy. I don't think he's a virgin, but it really reminded me of him in a number of ways.

12. I thought it was funny, but not as funny as I'd heard it was
it was pretty good.
