4. Here's a great quote for you, and everyone, Miss Millie: I love this one.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, "who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?"
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are born to make manifest the glory of God that's within us.
It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone.
And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

~ Marianne Williamson (as quoted by Nelson Mandela in his 1994 Inaugural Speech)

I think there is power simply in being clear about what you want to create. You've got some wonderful and postive goals.

3. I've made a commitment to reclaim my life.
I'm gonna clean and re-order my home, unpack boxes that have sat in the garage for nearly 3 years, put up pictures, and make this place my home.

And, I will re-commit myself to telling people that I love them. Life is a precious gift, meant to be shared and enjoyed with everyone.

And, I'll bounce my boobies every chance I can, too! :bounce::bounce:

What a wonderful post, Shine!:loveya:

When I first put them in there I started a thread asking if they were "too" creepy...I got several responses in the affirmative. But I love 'em, so I did it anyway. :D

14. I'm really doing pretty darned good this year.
I haven't broken my one New Year's resolution.
I've gotten some very good feedback on aromatherapy work over the past few years. *pats self on back*
I haven't broken any hearts or wrecked any friendships.
It looks as if my next 6 months of being an occasional gypsy will be possible.

16. How cool that you do aromatherapy work. I'm not surprised that you're
into the healing arts, thru nature. I love to use my aromatherapy diffuser at home all the time. I love combining Orange and Rosemary....also, Rosewood and Chamomile. Ahhhhh.....In fact, maybe I'll go do that right now. :)

I'm excited and happy for you about your upcoming trip. What a great Life you have!

18. I'm probably setting myself up for
disappointment, but since my retirement I had to find a hobby. Obsessing over the lawn is not that expensive, not that time consuming, and doesn't involve old girlfriends.

11. Please tell the weather that it is spring. The weather does not know.
I think this is the chilliest March I've experienced since moving here. I'm hoping for lovely, pleasantly warm weather before the hot stuff hits.

I'm constantly working on my efforts to renew myself, so now is as good a time as any to say so. :)

19. It is raining, dark and about 45 degrees as I type these words.
and I live in California!!

Yes, we've had an abundance of rain here and I'm ready for some SUN, dammit!

The interesting irony of it being rainy and cold here on this, the first day of Spring, has not escaped me. To me it seems even more symbolic of the need to be clear in what one wants to create, while in the midst of circumstances that may APPEAR as if they do not "support" you. This is the time of the year, energetically, where we honor what our deepest intent is and how we want to grow.

Do you know what I mean?

musings on a cold Spring morning....
:hi:

13. March 29th
Edited on Mon Mar-20-06 12:31 PM by lizziegrace
My own "first day of Spring". I'm moving out of the community I've lived in for 12 years. I'm leaving a place that held so much promise when we moved here. Since then, I've gotten divorced, watched my daughter grow into a wonderful person and graduate from high school and dealt with many personal set-backs.

This is my time to begin again. What will the future bring? I have no idea. But I can't wait to find out!

:bounce:

On edit, hopefully this week will bring news of a permanent, full-time job with benefits. Keep me in your thoughts!

30. I want to have more fun
I soend too much time cooped up in my apartment, never going anywhere or meeting anyone. Most of the time that's okay. I don't really like people much. But I am having a sort of spring fever I think. Certain itches that need scratching, if you catch my drift. I find that I really would like to meet someone nice, reasonably well-behaved (LOL) and just have fun.
