2. I thought I was always running out of money
and it slagged along on my Pent4 with 256K memory.

With SimCity3, you always had neighboring cities that you could hook up with neighbor deals to bring some early cash in, but you don't have that with SC4. I gave my copy away

4. Cheats

That helps the spending situation and partially bypasses the micromanagement crap and allows you to build the way you want, and do the u-drive missions as well. :-)

No neighboring cities though. That's a minus I hadn't read...

6. Haven't seen it - what are the highlights/lowlights?
Edited on Thu Dec-04-03 07:06 PM by goobergunch
I've got SC3K Unlimited, but I don't use it much anymore because I became a DU and NationStates addict. Although Goobergunch City is still sitting around my hard disk somewhere....

8. Once a city gets going, it's fun to actually drive and fly around in it
(U-Drive missions)

But micromanagement (ala Civilization III, Master of Orion 3) will put some people off. Like me. My employer micromanages like crazy and it's driving me nuts. Why do I want to play a game forcing me to be so ridiculously controlling over every little thing that must be done?

9. How do they force micromangement?
Transportation? Utilities? Health/Education/Public Safety? Zoning?

I'm not a big fan of micromanagement either, so I'm just curious.

14. You have to manually place all fire trucks?
One of the best things about SC3K IMHO was that you didn't have to manually place fire trucks like you did in SC2K.
