my b-day is actually Wed, but we are celebrating tonight. Basically I'm getting free dinner and drinks. I want to have something special, so I need some interesting drink suggestions. Basically I'll drink anything but gin or scotch.

because a Rusty Nail is the epitome of sophistication, imho.
Try a Rich Boy in Trouble (Bacardi 151 and Grand Marnier) but stop at 1 (or 2 if you like them)
