internet phones - I'm thinking, but I trust DU folks most. Which way 2 go?

Had it since 3/03 - love it. Lingo sucks! Poor sound quality.

4. I have Vonage too

My sister's in the UK and it's 3 cents a minute. I haven't had any trouble on overseas calls. Their website should give you the rates to other countries.

6. One experience in which Vonage SUCKED.

One of my sisters had Vonage. She loved the rate. But it kept calling 911 at all hours. All by itself. The first time the police came in the middle of the night it was terrifying. Second time too. Third time it started getting bad. This went on for four days before Vonage FINALLY said, "we're going to turn off your phone until we fix it."

They fixed it. For about two and a half months. It started calling 911 again.

My sister doesn't have Vonage anymore.

But this is just one experience. Best wishes in making your choice -- this is a good way to go, ask as many people as you can!

8. We have Sunrocket and have been very, very pleased.

We spent the first couple of months on the month to month plan, then switched to the yearly.

Excellent service, no problems except that one of my Senators' DC fax has issues talking with my fax machine. However, his other fax numbers work fine. It may be an old fax.

I'm just about to give up my cell phone because I don't see the point of having all these phones.
