Has Anyone Ordered Prescriptions Online From Canada? |

One of my (expensive) prescriptions is running out and costs $100 for a month's supply. Has anyone any advice or preferred websites for ordering medications at a discount?
Thanks,
RR

I remember that when she was looking online, it definitely pays to compare. Several of the sites have an instant quote function where you can find out exactly how much your prescription will cost, and they varied widely.

3. AARP magazine mentions these companies: |

Adv-Care.com Canadameds.com CanadianMedService.com MedicationsCanada.com PharmacyInCanada.com RxNorth.com
I have a friend who has ordered from Canada. I don't remember which company she used but she got her meds ok and for about 1/3 cheaper than here. You have to check around with the various companies for their policies and prices but it does work.

That is where we get our drugs and we save a bundle since we both have comditions that require expensive meds to control.

I get a prescription from my doctor for 90-day supplies and a 1-year refill time.
The prescription gets mailed to the Canadian pharmacy where a Canadian doctor rewrites it (might verify it with your doctor here).
It takes a few weeks for the first prescription and a couple of weeks for refills to get here.
The bottles are original packaging from the manufacturer.
The savings depend on the current value of the dollar. I save 20 to 30 percent.
Some brand-specific prescriptions aren't available in Canada.
