Whew...Thai food is great but it is SO spicey! What's your favorite?

I was munching on my leftover Duck Chili (duck, onions, pineapple, ginger, mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, cashews, basil leaves) and WOOOOOOOSH...fucking SPICEY!!
I love thai food and want recommendations for when I go next :9

4. I love the following dishes

Mieng Khum (a lettuce wrap appetizer with ginger root, dried shrimp, coconut, thai chili peppers, scallions, and peanuts)

Panang curry (either pork or chicken)

Coconut noodles (similar to Pahd Thai but not as tangy)

Rad Na with beef

Mee Krop (savory crispy noodles)

Taht Mahn (fish cakes)

Thai iced tea is orgasmic. I don't know what's in it, but i think it has coconut and cinamon :9 I had two glasses of it, and would have had more except it was 3 bucks a pop:(

8. Yum Goong. Shrimp and veggies with a tangy lime dressing

and hot sauce. It's a Thai dish that's wonderful. Leftovers taste even better the next day.

10. Pad Kee Mow (sp?)

sometimes they call it something different, but it's what I almost always get. Flat rice noodles, chicken, mint leaves, lettuce, peppers, onions and/or carrot slices. Traditionally spicy, but I always have to load it up with a bunch more red pepper and everything else spicy on the table since they usually take it down a few notches to cater to tender American tongues.

17. I love spring rolls

cashew chicken and shrimp or chicken pad thai. Coconut chicken soup is also good. What's really disconcerting, though, is that different Thai restaurants have different recipes for the same things. In L.A. my favorite Thai place had a really spicy, wonderful cashew chicken, but the ones I've been to here in Massachusetts aren't as spicy.

with Shrimp Spring Rolls served with Peanut Sauce-- awesome! Massaman Curry is excellent. Pad Thai: yummy.

21. My favorite is still the old standby Pad Thai, with lots of squid, shrimp,

mussels, scallops etc.

Tied is a dish called Bangkok Seafood served at a place called Taste of Thai in downtown San Diego, a seafood dish with red curry and all the seafood listed above which is just yummy with rice.

And a bowl of Tom Kah Kai, which is chicken in a coconut soup with galangal, mushroom and limejuice.

Whenever I eat at a Thai restaurant, I request that the dish be made with extra spices.

Hot and sour lemongrass soup with vegetables.

Red and yellow curries with seafood.

Favorite local restaurants: Benjarong, Thai Farm, and Tara Thai.

and right now I'm craving sushi, although someone mentioned Kung Pao Chicken, yummy. I haven't had that in ages.
