In January, Carlos Boozer (a basketball player) accused the pop star of violating his lease after Prince subjected Boozer's Los Angeles mansion to an extreme makeover.
The suit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court and was reported Monday on thesmokinggun.com. It claims that Boozer's royal tenant painted the exterior with purple stripes and installed a purple monogrammed carpet in the master bedroom.
The suit alleges Prince also painted a "prince" symbol and "3121" on the house - the latter being the title of his just-released album - and installed "plumbing and piping . . . for water transfer for beauty salon chairs" in the bedroom.
Last month, Boozer withdrew the complaint after Prince denied breaking the lease, claiming that Boozer accepted the monthly rent of $70,000 in December and January without question. Boozer's complaint was dismissed "without prejudice," meaning he can refile it at a later date.

(My fav part)
"If Prince is renting your house for $70,000 a month, you should expect some purple," says Kirby.
"But installing water pipes for a hair salon in the bedroom is uncalled for."
