recognize her! Then when the program started she got up and went to the mike. I couldn't believe it. Did a great job pumping the Dems AND being funny.

I think I remember her once playing a blind character on the TV show "Night Court". She was good.

Some years ago, a friend of mine lent me a video of Elaine Boosler doing stand-up. My friend said it was a guaranteed cure for grief, and that was right on the money.

She made one ignorant comment, but other than that, she has been awesome. I loved her standup act & used to see her live in L.A. back in the day.
