So I went out to eat at lunch today...

with a co-worker who gave up all animal products for Lent. Now, one would think that finding Vegan food in Los Angeles wouldn't be that difficult, right? Wrong.

We tried a Chinese restaurant. They fry the vegetables in chicken broth. Seriously? :wtf: The only thing vegan there was the plain rice.

We ended up at that pizza place they have in nearly every mall food court in the country and the poor girl had to eat the most boring salad I've ever seen.

How do you Vegetarian/Vegans do it? Especially those of you in the Midwest. Yikes.
