Universal Studios Orlando: 1 park or 2 park pass?

The wife and I are trying to figure out if we should get a 1-day, 1-park pass, or a 2-day, 2-park pass. Both include the CityWalk stuff, which includes a Mardi Gras celebration on Saturday. Thoughts? The price difference isn't all that much, but I know nothing about the new "Islands of Adventure."

1. Depends on if you like roller coasters or movie type rides

I have been twice the islands of adventure is about a half a days worth of fun unless you just love roller coasters
I would do the 2 day pass so you can decide what park you like the most and go back and do the rides you like
..
I would suggest eating at emerils TCHOP TCHOP restaurant
Get reservations you wont regret it

2. Actually, we're only doing one day. They have 1-day, 2-park passes online.

3. you could do both parks in a day

if you have the energy that is.
its a boat load of walking.
if you stay on property you can do the fast pass..
i would recommend it
