My husband rocks so hard!
I couldn't be prouder of him today.

I would share more details, but it's not my place. Perhaps he'll chime in with the proper encouragement.

I was going through some really rough times last year, and he kept telling me, "The future looks so bright, I need sunglasses." I held on to that hope through the tears, but had a hard time putting my faith into it because it didn't seem possible. (I always will have faith in him.)

He's worked so hard at making it all a reality. I couldn't be happier for him or for us.

1. Fantastic.
Strange how hearing a good vibe story like yrs can cheer me up, even though the specifics are veiled. In fact, just taking the time out to post your feelings like that is something many of us--myself at the top of the list--would do well to take a cue from.

Glad things are turning. Continued happiness...

:hi:

3. Well, good for you. And him.
Nice to hear about a husband / wife team working as a team. Good deal for both of you, and I'm happy for you.

12. That's just too cool;
You definetly scored in the "husband" department it sounds like!

It's so nice to read a post like this one and vicariously enjoy other's happiness--this has been such a bad few years for so many people that I love the "good news" posts in the Lounge!

6. I'm happy for you..
... isn't it great when stuff works out? :)

And I feel the same way about my wife, who is going through some bad times with her health while I go through bad times in other ways - she makes it easier to keep the faith and press ahead.

That's all you can do :)

10. He tells me that I help him as well
We make a really good team.

I don't know why I waited so long to get married -- other than I hadn't met him yet. ;-)

15. No, he hasn't done that in a looong time
Plus, it's you guys' fault. It's after drinks that it's happened. I wonder if there's a correlation.

23. "shout it out loud for a band named
KISS"

"You make me rock hard, baby all night
Love's like a glove and it fits just rights
You make me rock hard, so baby hold tight
Come on baby, let's rock hard, baby all night."

note - to those who do not know. I am NOT her husband. It just seemed like a good place for an earworm
Rock on, Mr. Jay :patriot:
