Who even knows who Dierks Bentley is??? Hmmm....?

He is a major toe curler on GAC and the Country Music Channel.

I know, next you will wondering who Jennifer Nettles is.

So, go out and broaden horizons...go on. It'll be fun.

1. I really liked his last CD
he's not quite as cute in person.

"Lot of Leavin' Left to Do" is a great country song IMHO.

JT Korenflos, who plays guitar on the record, is one pickin' mofo.

When the kids are home and turn on the television in the morning, they just roll their eyes at me. Well, the girl child not so much. She likes country music a bit, too. I grew up with it on the radio all the time, it was just music. Dolly Parton, The Rolling Stones, Roy Orbison, the Beach Boys, Patsy Cline, the Righteous Brothers, lots of Mo Town...it must have been a crazy mix. We just thought it was music.

I can see what you mean about Bentley in person, though. It's his voice that sounds so...hmmm...;). Well, maybe you get what I mean. It may be a girl thing.

3. he's one of those people the camera loves
It's a girl thing. But even as a straight male, I have to say he looks terrific in photos and on TV.

I spend much time in Nashville. His offices (or somewhere he spends alot of his time) is near my publisher's offices (where I spend alot of time). I see him from time to time driving or at restaurants near Music Row. He looks much more ordinary in person.

I'm not a huge fan of many of the artists in Nashvegas, but I like DB. Good songs. Good playing.

5. Well, I don't know about Dierks...
Alright, actually he is a nice-looking guy, but I was more into that woman he had with him in the "What Was I Thinkin'" video!
