1. 1) Find integral of dt.
2) Replace 'dt' with /_\t or just t.
Voilá, you have an infinite time, ie. eternity.
(No, I do not expect that this is the desired answer)

9. I disagree
Eternity is not merely time stretched out to the infinite - but is actually a concept irreconcilable with time itself.

But I've only had one coffee so this really isn't the time for me to get onto philosophy. :eyes:

10. ? It wasn't strecthed out anything!
It was just an infinte number of finite times! (eg. 1 second plus one second plus(.....) an infintie number of times.

eternity isn't irreconcileable with the concept of time, merely the viewing by a finite being of eternity.

6. Churches around here used to have these silly little allegories:
If an ant were to pick up one speck of dirt and carry it away from the earth, and kept doing it until the entire planet had disappeared, that's not even one/one-millionth of eternity.

8. Eternity is long.
You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly long it is. I mean, you may think it's a long time to wait for next weeks's episode of My Name is Earl, but that's just peanuts to eternity.

14. Here's how I heard it...
Imagine you are at the grocery store,

You go to check out, and there is only one line open with 20 people in front of you,

and they all have a full basket of groceries,

and they all want to pay by check,

and its the checkout person's first day on the job,

and she doesnt speak any English.

Thats pretty close to eternity.
