Dear Mom I love you!
I want to help you with dinner tonight. Can we eat out? I missed you very much! I love you. Signed (Material Girl)!

P.S. I still want a horse.

___

Actual letter I got from my 8 (I'm ALMOST 9, Mom!) year old yesterday... It came complete with a drawing of us with a horse and her saying "Hooray!"

I'd been gone for three nights to go to a conference and take a required continuing ed class.

3. We have a fenced yard, but I think it might be illegal.
We may live in a tiny town in the middle of boo-foo but they do have ordinances prohibiting livestock in town.

Additionally, I do NOT want to have to clean out kevsand's garage just so the horse has a place to get in out of the rain. THAT scares me more than the legal ramifications of it all! :)

7. She wants to help AND go out to eat.
I had a really difficult time not laughing when I saw that one.

She loves to help me in the kitchen but has been spoiled of late because kevsand has been taking her out to eat while I was gone...

WHICH is more fun?

5. Soooo cute!
:-)

P.S. I'd make the pronouns gender neutral - Matcom might be watching. :D

6. Gender neutral for an 8 year old?
Lord, the child just discovered GENDER in the last few years!! At this point we are having a lot of discussion about "the boys" already. I'm wondering what this will be like in another couple of years and I am SCARED! :)
