I normally don't like horror flicks (the vast majority of them are plotless excuses for over-the-top gore, cheap jump scares, and the filmmakers letting all their sick impulses run wild).

I want to see this movie, because the gore (which is supposedly just enough) is apparently balanced with a good plot, and a general overall intention to drive you nuts with atmospheric terror and only then have something show up. Like the quasi-demonic spirit in that scene, Pyramid Head.

If you're not planning to go see the movie, I'll tell you what he's holding there.
