My computer's going crazy with Symantec email proxy messages!

It keeps popping up dozens of messages telling me that emails couldn't be sent because they were rejected for a variety of reasons, some saying that this is spam. The thing is, I only use Yahoo Mail for my emails and I haven't sent one out in at least a few days. Do I have a virus, and if so where do I go to figure out how to get rid of it?
