like The Rock and The Bone and The Tendon and The Cartilege, and sports-talk stations have names like The Dog and The Dog and The Dog.
Somebody in marketing had the bright idea that listeners don't "get" call letters and frequencies anymore. :shrug:

Good station, actually, won Rolling Stone's Station of the year a couple times back in the 90s.
