Portland Bumper Sticker:
Your Proctologist
Just Found Your Head

(WTF?)

Oh, I did see a Bush/Cheney '04 sticker today. (Hadn't seen one for a long time.)
I resisted the urge to give the driver "that ol' middle finger."

1. I think it is referring to one having one's head up one's
arse.

I also saw a homemade one in my neighborhood that said "Hey Bush! Send our kids to college, not Iraq".

5. Sending a kid to college is projected to rise to $300,000!
My goodness! Only crooked politicians and CEOs will be able to afford that!

9. No, I wasn't in Gresham today, but went there last Saturday to see
a youth group production of "Robin Hood."

The proctologist sticker was seen on Rt. 217 going to Tigard today. We wanted to catch the new movie "Inside Man" at the Tigard cinema -- interesting new Spike Lee flick!

10. I saw one today
(it was one of those that one of the fundie nutjob organizations had been giving out)

"Marriage = Man + Woman" (in place of the words man and woman they had little figures of a man and a woman)

I saw that and ended up yelling "Eff YOU!" to the driver, even though I knew very well he couldn't hear me. Nonetheless, it felt good just to say it.

11. Buffy, I urge you NOT to yell at other drivers about anything.

My husband and I had an experience that I'd rather not go into in New York. Convinced me to never give the finger to or scream out to another driver, even if he couldn't hear you. Political road rage is everywhere. I don't know if you live in a red or blue place. Don't... ever... do... it!

In short, the guy in the next car had a gun.
