The Reese's Peanut Butter Cup |
|
Edited on Sat Mar-25-06 01:09 AM by oneighty
Shane is my grandson. Shane is about thirteen years old. Shane came up to my room to watch a movie on my TV.
Shane is sitting cross legged on the floor watching the movie and the last Reese's Peanut Butter cup plainly visible in my clear glass candy bowl.
He says; "Grampa is that a Peanut Butter Cup?"
I lean over and stare at the Peanut butter cup. "Yup it sure looks like one." I tell him.
Shane sits quiet grinning and torn between watching the peanut butter cup and the movie. He is very polite so he just sits there grinning.
Inside he is coveting that peanut butter cup. I am receiving mind messages.
"Okay." I say. He pounces.
Shane is pushing sixteen now.

1. Nothing quite like taunting teenagers, is there? |
|
BTW - Reese's now makes Peanut Butter Eggs for easter. Think of it as a peanut butter cup on steroids. :9

when you're 179 years old, and your time is almost up, i hope that Shane makes the trip to bring you that last Reese's peanut butter cup.
