OMG: like this is any of our business
:grr:

One of our local news outlets is going to run a story on where Kirby Puckett's money is willed to.

:eyes:

None of any of our fucking business.

6. Christ I only had a year of HS journalism
and I know this. Puckett was my uncle's favorite ball player even though he wasnt a twins fan. Its really too bad that his career ended too early, I am starting to miss old time baseball but I could be guilty of bitterness *cough* 8 years and counting of subpar years, finding out one of oyur fave childhood heroes was a roids user.

9. Whats really going to suck
is they'll look impressive again then falter, and then by hte end of the summer you know its wait till next year. I think the problem is Angelos, sigh I wish the Orioles had an owner like the Steelers did, I know its two different sports but I'd love a guy like Dan Rooney and his family to own my baseball team. I wish the Twins good luck this year too though I think that division could go your guys way, the Sox way, or the Indians way, I dont see the Tigers or Royals making an impact. Hope they give Kirby a nice ovation on opening day, we lost osmeone over the winter too, a good man Elrod Hendricks who I actually met once and my brother had his autograph until we lost it gah.

10. The Twins will be wearing Kirby's number on a patch this year
I want that patch.

I am currently looking for a 34 pin to put on my Twins cap.

12. Awesome I hope the Orioles consider retiring 44 for Ellie
The guy was such a great guy, always a smile on his face and was one of those guys who did things for the good of others. He had been playing Santa Claus at a community event before he had a heart attack. Maybe they'll psas out the patch at games this year or pins.

8. Given that he was pretty much out of the spotlight the last few years
I would think he would have not wanted this disclosed.
