My friend ditched me

So we're on a weekend road trip to where we both went to college. We're going hiking tomorrow. We're supposed to hit the bars tonight. So why am I here on DU? Because my supposedly best friend drove over to his ex-girlfriends place and hasn't come back for several hours. :wtf:
If he's going to be a moron and hook up with his ex (who treated him like crap) the least he could do is be quick about it and come back so we could go out like we planned. This is the lamest thing he has done in a long time.
