I come back after a month, and DU has changed. It makes me wonder

when looking at the improvements and updates to this site, to almost all aspects of the forums and just the visual feel of everything...


how come FreeRepublic hasn't changed at all, in eight years?

They have been doing fundraisers too, and their expenses can't be much different than DU's...


Check the DU archives, we have gone through about 3 or 4 very different "versions", in appearance, and are constantly getting new or streamlined updates and features.

What do they have? Same old clunky, amateurish garbage and junk website.


But, then again, it makes sense. After all, they are conservative, they fear change. I'm surprised they have even been bold enough to venture onto the internet.

Meanwhile, we are progressive...
