Being a former San Diegan, you may appreciate this.

1. Oh nice!
It's been 14 years since I was in San Diego. Alas, I was far too young to appreciate the architecture... I went to Sea World and Tijuana instead (I was 11).

3. Looks cool. In Detroit...
we have a whole island in thte middle of the Detroit River that's a park. It was designed by Olmstead who designed Central Park in New York City. It's pretty cool.

4. San Diego has some very beautiful architecture.
I visited there about 20 years ago, and really enjoyed looking at all the beautiful buildings the city has.

7. This is the first place Mr. kt took me when we first started dating.
When we got married, he came up to LA for me. *sniff* How romantic...

8. Thanks maveric
My Balboa Park story...

Back in 1975, our family was on an outing at the park, and I saw the tower with the 1915 date on it, and said "Look, Grandpa! That building is as old as you are!" :D Ah, kids...

That beautiful architecture is among the very best in North America.

10. Balboa Park was a lot of fun.
My wife and I also liked to go to Seaport village and Just walk through the shops and watch the ships and boats go by. I miss that.
