Any "Waterworld" fans here?
I think it's one of the best late night movies ever. I'd cut a few scenes to make it better. But overall, it's a good, late night movie.

1. Saw it for the first time last night, in fact.
My library has a DVD section that's absolutely to die for. Now I'm getting to catch up with all those movies from the 90's that I never got around to seeing, even though I wanted to. I enjoyed "Waterworld" quite a bit!

3. I'm thinking...
Okay I'm not. Ya have a bunch of beers. It's total mindless entertainment. Okay?

4. No, that's my favorite line from the movie.
When Kostner slaps the little animal girl in the back of the head when she shouts to the bad guys.

5. I saw it one time sober... not so good.
Saw it with several of these in me... ... much better!

Of course, the argument could be made that
... but it did the trick that night!

6. Some movies need large quantities of alcohol
to aid the suspension of disbelief.

This is definitely one of them.

8. Have to admit, I kind of do like Kevin Costner's cheesy apocalyptic films
The jet ski thing is kind of stupid as is the Exxon Valdez thing. It would be a good film if it was tweaked.
