The Prophetess has surgery tomorrow

Ruptured disk, L4-L5 region (lower back). They plan to remove the ruptured part of her disk, which is compressing the sciatic nerve and making life miserable for her.

Everything should go OK, and it's about damn time this is finally going to be dealt with-the doctors have been giving her the runaround, as I've put up in previous threads.

I've had many clients who have had this procedure and the majority of them are so much better once the have the surgery. I'm sure The Prophetess will be too.

As discussed, my hubby has had three back operations -- he's fine now. Amazing things they do with neurosurgery these days! I'll keep The Prophetess in my heart tonight. Then she can do the same for me on Monday 04/03 -- hand surgery for "stenosing tenosynovitis," better know as "trigger finger" at 12 Noon Pacific Time. (Don't forget to SPRING your clocks FORWARD one hour on Sunday at 2 AM!)

17. I had that same surgery about 11 years ago.

Everything went smoothly and the pain (which was horrendous) was gone immediately. I've always compared it to having a tooth pulled--instant relief. Recovery was quick and easy. I had never had surgery before (I was nervous before), but it really was a breeze. Hope hers goes as well--I'm sending good vibes her way. Good luck!
