Who remembers the show "Make Me Laugh"?
It was first hosted by Ken Ober, then by Mark Cohen. (It was the Kevin Meany references on another thread that made me think of it.)

When my husband and I were first married, we looked forward to lazy Saturday mornings with a big breakfast while watching "Talk Soup" (the Jon Henson version) and "Make Me Laugh."

2. I think I remember this, but it's way vague.
When did it air, approximately?

3. Talk Soup
When Jon Henson had a career and my daughter was young. I enjoyed it very much. Looked forward to it.

Henson is currently writing a screenplay in collaboration with Kevin Nealon on a project for Adam Sandler and Revolution Studios.

4. I seem to remember a version hosted by Bobby Van
Late '70s or very early '80s, if I recall correctly. And yeah, it was damn funny.

I remember Gary Mule Deer playing "Folsom Prison Blues" and using Doritos Brand Corn Chips as picks. I don't know why THAT was the bit that sticks out in my mind.

7. I checked the Game Show Encyclopedia, and you are correct...
Robert Q. Lewis hosted the first version in 1958, and Bobby Van hosted a version in 1979-1980. Repeats of that version aired on USA in 1984-1986.

The versions I watched (Ken Ober and Mark Cohen) were put on by Comedy Central and aired in the 90s.

6. Yes, used to watch it a lot as a kid. If I remember, Gallagher
was often on it.
