NEED HELP! Computer question!

If someone knows my name & password, can they log in on their own computer but using my name & password, and see my computer history?

IE; if someone did that, could they see I'd posted on DU, etc?

1. Login to what?

If they know your name and password on DU, they they can log into to DU from any computer. Same thing is true of any internet based site, like yahoo mail.

But they can't log in to you and see your internet BROWSER history on a different computer.

Ok so you can only ever see my internet browser history by using MY computer?

So say I was using your computer...I can't go into the history thingie and see the same list of sites that are listed on my own puter?

So you can't see my sites, favorites, etc. and I can't see yours. I would have to physically be at that computer to see it.

CAVEAT: If, and only if, you have remote browser software installed on YOUR computer, and I knew how to access it, I could log on to your computer and see your internet browser history. This is highly unlikely unless this is is a work computer you're talking about. And again, I'd be logging on to your computer, just using a different machine to do it.

12. Not work, would be internet cafe (military overseas) computer.

So probably unlikely a soldier overseas could access my puter's browser history then...I would think.

Edit to add; I don't think I have remote access software on my puter...

Go to Control Panel and do Add or Remove Programs. After that's done, reboot.

Can you log into YOUR computer and knowing my computer password (not my DU password) can you find out what sites I've been to the past week etc on the toolbar "history" button?
