9. I still haven't come around to beets.
Not sure I ever will on that one.

Also cannot even stand the smell of mustard, let alone the taste. Mixed in recipes is a different story though - I love deviled eggs, potato salad, etc.

Something about the potassium. But I still try to eat them because I know they are good for you.

29. Oh, I always thought they were gross.
But I found out they weren't and thank goodness, they help with calf cramps and I have troubles with those during sleep. :(

I still can't stand banana pudding. :puke:

You must be alergic to potassium if it causes you stomach cramps.

44. oh yeah... bell peppers - I used to HATE those
I also wonder if they used to be stronger back then - are they like a lot of vegetables now? Bred for looks instead of flavor? At any rate I like them now.

30. Ice cream
I must have been the only kid on the planet to hate ice cream. Wouldn't eat it. Every kid likes the cone, but hnot me. I'd be polite when someone, against my mother's caution, would buy me one. I'd take a lick and hand it off to her.

Now give me a big old scoop of just about any flavor and you will make my day.

32. Air, water, cheese, ice cream. These are the things that sustain me.
I must have ice cream. My dad eats is every single night for as long as I can remember and I inherited his craving. I try to counter it with fat free pudding snacks, etc., but I MUST have something sweet every night. Ice cream preferred.

35. I hated sweet potatoes too! And pretty much everything else.
I honestly think I lived on air for my childhood. I refused to eat breakfast or lunch at school. I would eat lunch at home though. I sometimes ate dinner. I pretty much hated all food and I refused to eat out. Now I'm still a weird picky eater, but it's more just the whole mostly vegetarian/weird food reaction thing.

I like a lot of stuff, but I used to hate everything. I eat a lot of things most people wouldn't.

Last time I was made fun of for my consumption habits was at a strip club. They had a girl going around with a tray of shots. I picked the one shot because it was the only kind on the tray without artificial coloring. Alcohol is fine, but no artifical coloring or flavoring for me.

Is it because they are orange?

They are so good. I make them every week now and can't understand why I hated them.

40. My friend, who is 37, just came around to mushrooms this year.
And only in small doses, but at least we don't have to worry about recipes when cooking for him. So many recipes have mushrooms. He used to pick them out and before long we noticed he was eating them. Busted. Now he admits they aren't as bad as he once believed.

To each their own! I wouldn't touch mustard with a 10 ft pole.
