and I'm still can't believe that my mom couldn't find a Cardinal hat in the whole city of St. Louis when she went there on business last month. Did you see the poll on ESPN.com, most people would pick Pujols if they could start a team, his all around goods with the bat are like that of Stan Musial, more of a power hitter than the man was too.

Not only is he a power hitter, he's a great clutch hitter, and he hits for results as well. He's just so immensely talented.

I can't wait to see what the new Busch Stadium looks like when I get to go there next month. It should be great times.

3. Went with Pujols

He'd be the guy I start a team with. He's young (25), he can hit for average, power, and is a great RBI man. I can see a guy like that winning a triple crown someday. I son'r know much about his defense abilities that said but I did see that he runs decently too for a first baseman. I still love Tejada though, he's my fave Al player and hopefully the Orioles will finally amount to something, but I wont hold my breath on that.

Have you ever seen footage of "The Throw"? It was against Oakland several years ago, and Ichiro, way out in "Area 51" let loose a throw to third base that was an absolute bullseye, and threw the runner out. I still love seeing that thing!

He's not a power hitter, but as lead up hitter, his job is to get on base. Still, he is very much a multi-dimensional player.

I'd take my Little League teams to the games. We'd sit in Center at Qualcomm, where the chicken would make "in crowd" appearences. When he'd walk through the stands the kids would MOB HIM!
A few years back the Padres banned him from the games, for some reason.
