If they say "There are some things money can't buy",
how come people love buying things?

How come peoples' love of money makes them to unlovely, hateful things?

And why can't I afford an "escort"?

Next week's maxim: "A bird in the hand..."

2. Yeah, but I miss all the hard answers.

Does hinting help? Or would that suggest I know the answers?

4. It takes so much effort to dig down and find the answer to those
but here.
how come people love buying things?
People buy stuff to make them feel better.

How come peoples' love of money makes them to unlovely, hateful things?
After they've bought stuff they are still the same inside. They haven't changed because of the money, the money just made them arrogant enough to think they didn't have to work on their own issues and somehow they "think" they are superior because of their stuff. They missed the whole point of being human. They get to come back next time and learn to be humble.

And why can't I afford an "escort"?
You don't need to pay an escort show him/her your peeps and it'll all be fine.
:hi:

People buy stuff to make them feel better - I agree. Especially if it's bought at Spencers. :D

Feeling superior. I can't speak for other people, but I never do. Unless it's about my work abilities, but there's the exception to every rule, I hope. :)

Show them my peeps? http://peeps.dpcphoto.com (you should see the big purple one! )

3. The only thing money can't buy is love. I'm willing to go without that.

:silly:

But seriously. I mean, if I had the choice between some cute guy looking at me all googly eyed, or $700 to fix my windshield, I'd pick the $700.

Because, unfortunately, my crappy car will probably stick around longer than said cute guy.

The only people who say "there are some things money can't buy" or "money isn't everything" has money, or "some things", or, usually, both. Those sorts of people can be very generous and very kind, sometimes.
