Where Did You Meet Your Most Current (Or Most Recent) Significant Other?

Be honest now. -- I first met my partner at the funeral of a mutual friend... over ten years ago. (A funeral... weird, huh?)

Neither of us is 100% certain but most likely we met at a Cave Research Foundation something or other, at which I was most likely the chief cook for the weekend.

We were casual friends who ran into one another 3 maybe 4 times a year after that for several years then he moved closer to the area and after I was divorced we decided to go out. 23 years later....

I had been in California for a couple weeks on business. when I got back to DC, a friend IMed me that she had some friends she wanted me to meet. I went over to her place, and hit it off with TheProphetess immediately. After that we were dating exclusively (even though she lived in Ohio), and after a stopoff for a year in Georgia, I resigned and moved to Ohio to get married.
